Cynthia Nixon married her longtime girlfriend Sunday.
"On May 27, 2012, Cynthia Nixon and her girlfriend, Christine Marinoni, were legally married in the state of New York. Nixon wore a custom dress by Carolina Herrera," her rep said in a statement.
The Sex and the City star and Marinoni, have been together eight years, and engaged the last three. Same sex marriage became legal in New York last summer.

Marinoni gave birth to their son, Max, in February, 2011. Nixon, an Emmy, Tony, Grammy and SAG award-winner, also has two children from a previous relationship.
