Cristiano Ronaldo and his Portugal team mates arrive at their hotel on Wednesday (June 20) in Warsaw, Poland.
Over the weekend, the 27-year-old soccer star scored two goals in the Euro 2012 match against the Netherlands.
The 2-1 victory earned Portugal a spot in the quarterfinals against the Czech Republic taking place tomorrow (June 21)!
“We made it and I would like to dedicate the Man of the Match Award to my son. Thank you all for your support,” Cristiano recently tweeted.
“Ronaldo got so much criticism in the last game, and he is back now,” Dutch coach Bert van Marwijk told reporters, referring to Cristiano‘s scoreless performance at the beginning of the European Championships. “That is how fast things can change.”
