midwife appt and hectic day!

Had an appt today with my lovely independent mw.All good thankfully-baby boy predicted to be a 'very good size'!.She said she doesnt normally measure,but did anyway,and 34+cm already,although baby is very curled up too apparently with a wide head and bum-well he takes after me with his bum anyway .My youngest was 8lb 10,but they reckon 9-10lb this time-we shall wait and see,I know how wrong they can be!.He seems to be head down too,which is fab-hopefully he'll stay that way now.Most of mine have been breech/transverse till late on,so I'm chuffed.It all seems to feel quite real now,not long to go!
got some bargains today too
maxicosi cabriofix car seat only £53,and also got a crib set down to £15 from £35,so was a great day until our tyre blew out on the motorway ,and we ended up paying £110 for 2 new tyres and £16 for me to get a taxi back in time to get the kids from school!.Main thing is,we are all ok!

its baby 8 (11th pg),and 9-10lb would still be a shocker believe me ,most of mine have been 7-8lb!
