Good luck for my new job vibes needed please

Tomorrow I start a new f/t job and am really panicing & get myself into a bit of a tizz.

Think the main reason is I loved my old job, the people etc but I just had outgrown the role and could not live on a p/t wage.

I am not sleeping and haven't done for about 2 weeks so will be glad when tomorrow is over. Just hate the thought of not knowing anyone and being out of my comfort zone. Also keep thinking I have done the wrong thing but guess only time will tell...

Any spare hugs or good luck vibes much appreciated

The build up will be far worse than your first day hun.It's easy for your thoughts to spiral out of control, but I'm SURE everything will be fine.

to you Lewpy. I start tomorrow too. It's only a temp job for the next 4 weeks but I have been out of the 'working full time' loop for a good few weeks so I am dreading it.

The 1st day is always the worst!

ETA: I also can't fit into any work clothes as I have put on so much weight over xmas!

First days are always a bit daunting - I've done a lot of temping so have had an awful lot of 'first days'. I'm not sure what the job is, but one thing that I found helped enormously was to take notes right from the start. Not only does it help you to remember, but you'll look efficient and keen.

I start my new job on Tues and am bricking it big time. In fact I shouldnt be here, I am supposed to be finding my academic certificates but have lost everything in the move!! AARGH!!
