Shit Shit Shit Shit

Just been to the loo for a poo and there was blood when I wiped.

No pain, but no morning sickness either.

DH is at work and I can't get hold of him. Have to ring the docs when they open but that won't be till 8.30am.

I'm all alone and I'm so scared. I don't want to lose this baby.

Is it red blood, or browny?
Is there a lot, or is just when you wipe?

I had spotting/ bleeding at exactly your stage and was fine.

Put your feet up, and take some deep breaths.

Was there much blood? I had some bleeding at 8 weeks and everything was fine so its not necessarily the beginning of the end

Ok first of all, make sure where the blood is coming from. TMI I have been for poos and found blood but it's actually been as a result of the pooing not anything else.

You could have strained yourself but whatever the case, I think you should contact the doctor asap just so you can find out what is going on - they will probably get you in as soon as they can.

i had some early bleeding at about ur stage as well, everything turned out ok and tbh i bled alot
ring ur doc, hopefully u can see him/her and they will refer u to the epu

Is it worth ringing NHS Direct in the meantime?

Everything crossed for you sweetie, it's quite common but do get to the docs this morning - just go there and sit in the waiting room if needs be. Or is there an EPU at your local hospital?

Okay, calmed down a little now. Have rung NHS direct and spoken to a very nice nurse. All I can do atm is wait to get hold of my doc. Trying to stay calm, but really not working.

Wish I could get hold of DH, but he wouldn't be able to do anything anyway.

Have told one of the girls I work with (she knows I'm PG) and asked her to explain to the boss. Shitty fecking timing as it's our year end and I absolutely HAVE to go into work today to close out the accounts for submission tonight.

Blood was definitely from my vagina - checked inside too. It was kinda reddy-brown if that makes sense - not bright, bright red, but not old brown either. It's like the spotting I used to get in the run up to my AF. Just sent me into shock I guess.

I was part worrying anyway as my truely hideous morning sickness seemed to start to wear off yesterday, which is early for that, and I don't have any today.

My boobs are also far less sore than they were, so I'm struggling to think positive.

Will have to wait and see what the doctor says/does. Hopefully he'll send me for a scan. At least that way I'll know.

The earliest they can see me at the docs is 11.25, which is

frankly, but it is what it is. Have just spoken to my boss - she apparently had bleeding in three of her PGs, one of which ended in mc, so she does understand what I'm feeling. She's told me to stay home and rest until the appointment, and to let her know how it goes.

Keeping my fingers firmly crossed.
