    Jan 2006 mummies

Just a quick post to say hi to all Jan '06 mummies ... Hope you are all well!
Can you believe our babies are nearly two ?????

We've got parties scheduled for Emma on Saturday and on Sunday (one for friends, one for family), and then it's her birthday on Monday. It's a bit of a pain being so soon after Christmas, but I guess we're just lucky she didn't arrive on her due date (1 January!!)

    Hi Lili

I was just thinking about the Jan 06 mummies too! Especially as myself and RGK are both due in May, v exciting!

We're organising Ella's 2nd birthday party at the mo, though until Jan 23rd she will still be my little one year old!

What is everyone doing about prezzies...??? Ella got so much for Xmas and we have friends with slightly older kids so she's got mountains of clothes passed down from them. I've no idea what I can get her!

For her party we've hired a small hall and some soft play equipment so that her friends from toddler group can come and have lots of fun! It's going to be so cool- she can sing Happy Birthday to herself

How did your monkeys enjoy Christmas this year?

Hope all are well- a nice piccy update would be great too!

Lots of love, BB, El and Beansprout xxx

Wow I can't believe our little babies are now nearly 2

Not sure what we are going to do about Jacks Birthday this year, have decided to get him a bike though. We didn't get him a big Christmas present as we decided that one year he woukld get a small Christmas present and a big Birthday present and the next year Visa Versa and then we would get him something small in the summer.

He loved Christmas this year and really got into it, can't wait for next year thought he will have a ball!

Thank you!! My mum bought her that party dress in the sales, and she just had to try it on straight away !

TBH we've only got her a few bits and pieces for her birthday - she doesn't want anything, and certainly doesn't need anything after the mad Christmas extravaganza! I think most people are buying her clothes for her birthday, and at least that won't take up too much space in the living room!

    hello all you ladies

i was a december 05 mummy but of course was founder member of the jan 06 club! freddie had a great birthday and had party games and play at a local soft-play venue...it was mayhem just before christmas and my mam falling down the stairs and fracturing her skull was a bit of a nightmare (she's getting better now).

things are great here and would LOVE another one but not sure when....better make it soon before freddie gets too big!!!

    hope everyone is well.

    Re: Jan 2006 mummies

Can you believe we're all coming up to or had our babies 2nd birthdays Where has the time gone?

Just thought we should have a quick update about how we're doing and what we've been up to? Did you all have a good christmas?

Ours was quiet, if you've not be following the saga with J's dad i won't bore you but lets just say he's a twat! We got up early christmas morning i let him open some presents after breakfast and then we had to wait for daddy to get here. I can't believe how much he got and to be honest i don't think he really understood the whole christmas thing. But he enjoyed opening all his presents.

I'm working full time so joshua is at nursery full time and he just loves it! He loves going and there are no tears at all. The nursery spoke to me about potty training on Friday and said she will only do it when i'm ready and joshua is ready, which he isn't, he's nowhere near actually She said to me that we'll review it in the summer and think about it then as they like the children to be trained by the time they go up to the next class which is age 3. Its all a bit scary

Vocally he seems to be coming along a bit better, still not really saying much but theres definately words he does say which i understand but no word joining yet which i'm totally chilled about now. I was freaking about it few months back but i know he understands everything i say to him and thats all that matters.

    So who's next then?

I'm gonna do a piccie thing in damsels mums photos so we can do a Jan/Feb 06 piccie and then a Jan 08 piccie.

    Hi girlies

I haven't got anything ready for E's birthday yet and it's on Sunday I'm in denial We are having a kiddies party on Saturday which will be very small - just E, Bluebabe's M, E's 3 cousins and 2 friends. I'm planning to do that at the house but may chicken out and pay them all into soft play instead I'm not really planning to do any games or anything, just let them play. On Sunday we've got the family round

I can't believe that my tiny baby is now this grown up girl The time has absolutely flown.
