Oh bu&&er! Just totally lost it!
With both DS and DD1.
DD1 now in her cot in disgrace. DS sitting on the floor reading a book having been savaged. DD2 feeding to calm her from balling her eyes out from being ignored whilst the other two got yelled at.
IK its an invenitable part of being a parent, I'll sort it all out with them later, but loosing it serious sucks s"!t doesn't it

I'm just short fused this AM because I've only had a few hours sleep - still would be nice if Freya didn't draw over books with a red marker pen, and if Fin would get dressed in less than an hour

Re: Oh bu&&er! Just totally lost it!
it does suck.
I completely lost it with Ellie at the weekend and I stood in the middle of Oxford Circus screeching like a banshee.
We'd taken the girls to see Father Christmas at Selfridges and we were on our way to Hamleys which was to be followed by a gander at the christmas lights on Oxford Street and tea in McDonalds. The place was utterly mobbed and Ellie was jeffing around, refusing to hold my hand, running off, etc, etc so I completely blew my top. I was actually terrified of us getting seperated and me losing her so I let rip. Thousands of people were milling round us while I stood in the middle of the pavement yelling and hollering. I must have looked like a lovely parent

Don't beat yourself up about it. We all do it - as you say, it's part of being a parent. If it makes you feel any better I lost it with William yesterday as he's currently refusing to be spoon fed and wants to feed himself with his fingers ALL THE S0DDING TIME. Talk about frustrating - he's crying cos he's hungry and I'm screaming at him to eat his lunch as I've got a full jar of food that he's refusing to eat.
Oh the fun of being a mum

I think I'll plan a lazy duvet afternoon later with the kids so we get some much needed R&R - put a DVD on and let them have some treats.
Thanks guys - its good to be able to vent here and calm down

That's what I'm blaming at the moment.I think TBH it all boils down to a pre-Xmas craziness burn out
The behaviour round here is shocking at the moment and I think it's over excitement, over tiredness - Ellie's had something Christmas related going on everyday for the past 2 weeks - parties, carol services, panto trips, a Rainbows trip to the cinema, school disco, etc as a result we've had too many late nights and too much excitement. She breaks up from school at lunch time today so we're planning a lazy DVD/Chocolate afternoon.
It's been a long term and she's knackered
