Tripped up on the pavement outside our flat and managed to scrape my knee, scrape my arm, bang my thigh, bash my hand, twist my ankle........and it HUUUUUUUUUUUURTS

Yup, put some on and my arm then felt like it was on fire!!!!!!!!!!! It has a big scrape on it (as my Facebook status update will testify ). Bit less painful now, mind......

Oh No, you shouldn't put arnica on broken skin shouldn't do too much harm though, take it easy.
