Update on Jacob's consultant appt
I managed to worry myself sick before we went, literally. I had it in my head they were going to separate us again - stupid I know but having had a 6 weeks separation from him and going back to the hospital did strange things to my mind

Anyway it was all fine in the end. His consultant is very happy with him, thinks that his development is fine and (corrected) age appropriate. He says that he doesn't have a heart murmur anymore and that the small hole in the heart most likely has closed itself
. With the reflux because he's breastfed our options are limited but we're to try a thickener in his evening bottle to see how that goes given how the Gaviscon bungs him up so badly. We go back in 6 months time when Jacob will be 9 months or 7 months corrected.
We went back to NICU too as I gave them all our old early baby and tiny baby clothes. That WAS strange but everyone was cooing over Jacob which was lovely and made me a very proud Mummy
.
We've come so far in such a short period of time !
