Another q about wee!

Lucy's last wee had what looked like sediment in it, at the bottom of the pot. She is still doing dark smelly wees as she is catching up on her dehydration. (She is drinking well now btw

)

I'm paranoid about whether there was something in the bottom of the potty beforehand ( I didn't look) or whether she weed out something strange

And now I've gone and flushed it away

so I can't show anyone!

Do you think it was in her wee?

I've no medical training but I would wait for the next wee, make sure the potty is spotless, and have a good look at that

You'll never know if the bits were there already so try not to worry about this one.

Definately wait for the next wee and then check again.

It is possible to have sediment in urine and it is usually indicative of an infection but if she is well then I wouldn't worry too much.

Thankyou for the advice. I just kept her next one and it was the same, all sediment at the bottom. I have phoned the ward and they were, well useless quite frankly, and said I should take her to my GP if she deteriorates

But she is still under their charge.

Oh well, she seems so much better in herself, I'll just keep an eye on her.
