Re: Showing early?
I'm told I'm enormous for my dates/carrying more than one blah blah. TBH they may have a point but my mw assured me that it's just because it's my second and everything is more 'slack' this time!!!

Re: Showing early?
I was an absolute porker and in maternity wear this time round by 12 weeks.
It HAS sort of slowed down though and people do tell me that I'm about the same now as I was at 25 weeks last time...........
I've put on nearly 2 stone though
wtf??!!! (which is half a stone more this time round than last time round BUT I did start off half a stone lighter)
But like last time, it doesn't matter WHAT I eat (and i've been being mostly v careful) the weight just keeps on piling on!!!!!!!
You can check out my mammoth girth on Friday

Re: Showing early?
I'm looking forward to it! I don't think I'm troughing for england but I seem to just be expanding in every direction
I haven't weighed myself and I don't intend to (didn't last time either as it's too depressing, especially if there is bog all you can do about it) Interesting that you say you are gaining despite being careful. There's no hope at all for me then (watch me tuck into Burger King on friday
)
Lois, it's one of the tricky things about being shorter, isn't it? Every pound shows doubly badly than on a tall person
You're going to be able to roll me around like a butterball turkey by Christmas

Re: Showing early?
I've actually only physically gained 3lbs but my belly is HUGE!! I swear it must be wind!! I'm eating much healthier this time round but it's not making a blind bit of difference.

Re: Showing early?
I showed a lot earlier, but I don't know how much of that was due to Christmas food!
I was in maternity clothes full time about 4/5 weeks earlier than last time.
I also put on weight more quickly, but have noticed thankfully (and don't want to jinx this) but that it seems to be slowing down a bit now.
But...again that could be due to the weather as I've not got much of an appetite.

Re: Showing early?
I showed early with this one. I was in mat gear by 3 months.
I have put on about a stone and a half and expect to put in another half a stone in the next 7 weeks!

Re: Showing early?
ooh I've also been doing about 5 to 6 hours walking a week (and fast walking - no snails pace for me!!!) and I'm STILL packing on the weight (just like last time though!!!!)

Re: Showing early?
I have got a bit of a belly already and I am only 7 weeks!! I just look like I have out on a bit of weight - which I hate because people think I am fat as they dont know I am preggers yet
I know I am going to be huge again, with Alfie I was the size of a house and put on nearly 4 stone
Oh well it will be all worth it in the end!

Re: Showing early?
Apparently you do show earlier with your 2nd
Deans brothers girlfriend who is about 8 weeks now is apparently shoing and real big, dean saw her at 5 weeks and she had a tummy on her and she is as skinny as VB
Even deans dad wife said on the wkend that she was showing and quite big for 8 weeks

Goes to show that one midwife can tell you one thing and another can contradict totally.
