baby love fest! come join in....

we haven't had an 'i adore my baby' thread for a while (well it must have been a couple of weeks at least) so....

i can't believe what a gorgeous funny happy silly cute little boy splashy is well when he's well. he's been so sick lately, and whiny and miserable and clingy i'd forgotten what he normally like.

i'm so lucky to be his mummy! etc

    next!

Seeing my poor little baby so sick yesterday and this morning, reminds me how vulnerable he is and how much he needs me. He looked like a lost little kitten sitting on the couch this morning

But when he's not being whiny and clingy (which is a lot of the time lately unfortunately) he is the cutest and most entertaining little person in the world, and the centre of our lives right now

Re: baby love fest! come join in....

Having had a very rocky start with Laura (had pnd, didn't bond with her at all for months - she was 3mths before I thought she was 'ok' and more like 5mths before the love kicked in) I now find on a daily basis that I can't believe that this wonderful, funny little girl is in any way related to me! She really is utterly fab, she is growing up into such a little star, even had one of the ladies at nursery (and I know they generally try and be 'even' in their affections of all their charges) that Laura is 'special' and she has them in fits of laughter. She really has got a very highly developed sense of humour for one so young, she's hysterical, and she only has to come up and give me a hug and my heart just melts. I still can't relate her in any way to the bump I had before she was born, but she's a little star and I love her more and more each day

I've been trying to teach A to be gentle & not hit/kick. This morning Mr Sparks brought her into our bed - I was still asleep (pretending to be!) & she stroked my face really gently, said aaahhhh and kissed me! It was the sweetest thing that's ever happened to me.

Eilis is a real monkey atm - but in a sweet and funny way. She's so determined, and pretty fearless. But she's also so loving - and makes me feel . I was getting dressed this morning - she patted my very unattractive flabby belly and said 'nice tummy'! It's so lovely that my daughter still thinks I'm gorgeous!!

Lucy is being a bit clingy atm, i think its because i left her twice in one week to attend Take That concerts and i don't think she's forgiven me yet.

Other than that and her early waking and fussy eating she's an absolute darling atm

She's so lovely and sweet, although can be a right little terror at times too, she's a real busy body and has to get involved in EVERYTHING i do which can be a real PITA at times but she LOVES helping me SO much its worth it

She LOVES being out in the garden and i love how she plays in the pool, she really does enjoy being in the water and tries to "swim" by lying on her belly and moving herself round the pool, so funny to watch

She adores her Daddy, and doesn't stop talking about him ALL day, no mention of Mummy at all unless i'm walking away from her, then its full on blubbering and tears because she thinks i'm abandoning her.

She is at such a lovely stage atm, learning something new everyday and her vocabulary is amazing me, she's coming out with words i wouldn't have even thought of teaching her but she's managing them just fine

I'm very proud of my little angel atm and can't wait for her to have a little Brother or Sister to boss round

I think my baby is the most adorable, spirited, hilarious little boy ever. He looks like a cherub with huge blue eyes and curly blonde hair but behaves like a mini devil sometimes but always makes me smile. They way he greets me now at nursery by shouting mummy and running to cuddle me never fails to make me feel funny inside (and close to tears at how beautiful he is and he's calling me mummy). He makes people smile in the street and he's just so so good.

He just has the most amazing, good humoured personality and such funny little quirks (yesterday he was racing around throwing his arms up like a Gospel preacher shouting 'yeah' - so funny). I can't believe I haven't had him here for ever. I absolutely feel blessed to have even met him - I can barely believe a little boy that special is mine.

    Aw, supercute thread!
I love how Emma gives us kisses & cuddles, I love how she wouldn't leave my side on Friday (after I'd abandoned her & OH for a week), I love how when it thundered she clinged to me & OH as if the world had ended, I love how she tidy's up, and how she always wants to help mummy.
