    . A twins question........

Yes I'm getting a little anxious about this now

What I'd like to know is if you have had/having twins did you suffer from nausea/morning sickness for longer than "normal"?

I haven't actually had proper sickness so far just the all day nausea. It keeps coming and going but I'm finding it very debilitating tbh to the extent where I have to go to bed as soon as I come home from work and I constantly feel like sh!t. I'm 13+4 now too and I thought I'd be blooming by this time

So............. did you suffer more with twins??? Actually my current copy of P&B also backs this up that ms is worse in cases of multiple births

Yes I believe it can be worse and can start earlier than normal too. Have you not had a scan yet? Or dont you get the 12 week one?

I have heard that about twin pgs but I don't know first hand. Could it actually be hyperemesis though, I think SaintSarah had this. And my friend had it too with a singleton pg.

I'll be getting my dating scan next Thursday but I'm starting to sh*t myself in the meantime

Lucy - I don't think I'm quite ill enough for it to be that although I'm still losing weight. I'll mention that when I get my antenatal appt next week

I think you need to try and not think about it until next Thursday (hard I know). There is no way of knowing until then. .

    Re: A twins question........

I had 24/7 nausea really badly from 6-17 weeks - ended up being off work for a fortnight at one stage.

All that would help is constant eating and a prescription for cyclizine from the doc. I have definitely just the one baby in there according to two scans!

Hope you feel better soon, I really feel for you

If it helps I'm 17w now and still feel like sh!te- scan says only one.

Constant nausea, needing 12hrs+ sleep a day, just generalyy feeling like crap. I seem to do OK in the am then hit a wall after lunch and it's just a struggle til I can go to bed. I am so not enjoying being pg.

Alabama- I notice yours lasted til 17w

Your pg sounds like mine petal and it wasn't twins - just a boy!

My MS lessened at 14.5 weeks.
