Waking at the same times every night?

    Hi all!

Jake has never been a great sleeper but we've now got to a better point in that he doesn't want to be fed all night.

So now he gets a 7oz bottle at around 11pm and then goes to bed and doesn't get fed until at least 5am. I would love it to be later but he won't settle when he wakes up then so I do feed him but he only feeds for a short time (breast feed at this time.)

Through the night he seems to wake up at 2:37am and around 5am every night, which I'm sure must be habit rather than anything else?

Any tips for stopping him waking up at these times? I wouldn't mind the 5am one if he slept from 11:30pm until 5am, but the 2:37 wake up (and often taking an hour to resettle) is getting a bit much.

    Thanks!

god I wish Tobes was that good.......

He's now developed the annoying habit of waking 3 or 4 times a night from 11pm.........
    Am hoping it's his teeth.

Try waking him (just a nudge) at 2:00am...this will restart his sleep cycle and hopefully he wont then wake on his own.

    Hi LuLu,
I haven't got any advice but just to let you know the same sort of thing is happening to us. As well as waking for food about 2/3 times a night now, Zach is just waking up and whimpering/needing settling several other times too. I've actually moved into the spare room and just come back for the feedings for the last couple of nights!
    Let's just hope it's a phase they're going through!
I'm pleased to hear that Jake isn't feeding so much at night now .
