L'Oreal 'Lash Architect' Mascara
In my never-ending search for the perfect mascara, I picked up L'Oreal's 'Lash Architect' in Tescos the other day. I was trying to find something a bit cheaper than the Lancome one I'd been using before (not to mention something that you could buy in Tescos and therefore fob off as part of the household food budget
) and remembered that in my teenage years I'd got on well with L'Oreal's mascaras. The info on the pack said it would give me a 'false lash effect' and this is what I was looking for (I don't do 'subtle' when it comes to mascara.
So I excitedly rushed home and tried it (saddo that I am
- I get stupidly excited about new make up) and the result?
ABSOLUTE BOBBINS
Right from the off it just left me with gunged up, tangled looking horrible black gloop all over my eye lashes. At around £7 it wasn't exactly ultra-cheap so I felt compelled to keep on trying it in the vague hope that it would miraculously improve but, sadly, it didn't. I tried wiping the brush clean before using it and all kinds of ways of applying it and everytime it just looked utterly sh1te. Really cheap and nasty.
A big fat waste of time and money and after a couple of weeks I had to grit my teeth and throw it out as I honestly could never imagine I time when I would use it .
No doubt someone will be along in a minute to tell me it's fabulous and changed their life
but sorry a big fat 0/10 from me!
