    Swollen

    I'm officially an elephant.

I dont know how my feet are ever going to fit in a pair of shoes ever again. Or how my rings will ever fit.

It just happened like KABOOM tonight.

Any tips for reducing swelling in hands and feet?

try raising your feet in bed with a pillow under them, that used to help me. And keep an eye on it too... swelling can be a symptom of pre-eclamsia so if you start to feel any other symptoms ring your MW asap http://www.babycentre.co.uk/refcap/257.html

I had bad swelling for weeks, I tried everything and resorted to wearing flight socks most of the time. It was awful and they were still swollen for a few days after the birth. I could fit into any shoes or boots.

Well I woke up Saturday and was fine

    No more elephantitus for me

Although we did an Ikea trip on Saturday and I thought I was going into labour while we were there :o

I keep getting one bit on both hands that swells (between the 1st and middle finger, round the knuckle), but nothing major

Im seeing the midwife on Thursday so I'll mention it to her just incase.

I've tried the pillows in bed and it starts off well, but I kick them out of bed in the night
