How easily do you get puffed?
I literally have to walk up the stairs and that's it!

And I'm constantly asking friends to slow down when we're walking cos I can't keep up
. I'm usually a really fast walker and it's so embarrassing - I feel like an old lady!
Even sitting here at my desk my breathing feels really fast and loud
- and DH keeps slinking off to the spare room cos I'm snoring and makind possum sounds!
Should I worry?
Anyone else?

Don't know hon. What kind of exercise do you normally do? I swim and sometimes get a bit wheezy cos of my asthma but apart from that I'm pretty ok - don't really feel pg most of the time!
Might be worth asking your doctor about it though if you're concerned xxCertifiably

Re: How easily do you get puffed?
I've got the puff of an 80 year old woman at the moment - but then I'm a lot further along - I think it partly depends on your body shape and how much space bubs has got in there before he/she starts impeding on your lungs!

Re: How easily do you get puffed?
Everything has been getting steadily more tiring for me, including climbing the stairs.
The thing that really gets me puffing now is trying to get socks on
. Damn this chilly weather, I was hoping I wouldn't need to be wearing socks until after the baby is born!

Re: How easily do you get puffed?
things are def starting to tire me out - ben's bedroom is on the top floor and carrying a 2 stone child up 2 flights of stairs is getting tiring. Glad we're moving soon to a house with only 2 floors

A couple of weeks ago, I met with a friend who was 39 wks pregnant, and blimey, the noise coming out of her when resting, was like an elephant at rest! I have no doubt I'll be making those same noises very soon

Re: How easily do you get puffed?
very easily, a slow walk up the stairs and I'm puffing like a geriatric chain smoker. Oh the shame of it. I also keep getting winded when the baby moves.
OH has also complained about the snoring and the fact that I wake him up every time I attempt to turn over in bed
because the whole bed shakes

I'm usually quite a fit person, but atm can't even walk v far as I have pelvic arthropathy, which sometimes hurts to walk 100m. I should try swimming but I feel so self conscious about my body when pg,What kind of exercise do you normally do?
silly I know but I can't help it.

Re: How easily do you get puffed?
I am ok walking on flat ground, but stairs knock me for six atm. Anything that involves bending down eg putting washine in the machine, putting shoes on, picking up toys etc has me gasping like a guppy in a keep-net

Re: How easily do you get puffed?
I was puffing like crazy until a week or so back but I think bubs must have moved down into my pelvis a bit as the puffing has stopped and the waddling has started - oh the joy and dignity of late pregnancy!
