to garden peas!

Honestly I have gone through bags of them now they'e in season! I don't know what it is, but I could sit there all day shelling them and eating them, I can't help it.

Still, better than chocolate I suppose,

You would get on well with my OH. He will eat anything you put on a plate as long as it comes with garden peas.

OK, this may seem like a daft question so apologies in advance (

) - do they taste like the garden peas that you buy frozen or are they different.

Reason is I really don't like garden peas (frozen) but LOVE tinned peas (yes, I know

) but if fresh taste like tinned (without the sugar and green colouring) then might give them a try.

You can tell I'm a townie....

They're much nicer and sweeter Miss P. Must get some actually - would these be ok for a toddler to eat straight from the pod or would they cause indigestion?

When I was a liitle girl, I used to sneak into my grandparent's garden and sit and eat peas straight from the pod!

Peas are still my favourite veg and I still love shelling them and eating them raw - they're so sweet and yummy!
