List of engaged couples?

I've been thinking of ways to expand my business and thought of doing Bridal Showers for brides-to-be. Basically I will run games like you would get at a normal pre-wedding get together and then the bride will have a wish list of products from the kitchen tools I sell, which people can then purchase as wedding presents afterwards.

what do you think? Where can I get a list of newly engaged couples from?

I don't have money to get booths at bridal fairs (and think I've already missed them all as they are usually in the new year aren't they?)

When we announced our engagement in the local paper we got quite a few things in the mail re wedding bands, flowers, cars etc so you could target people that way
