Yucky nose and bottom
TMI Warning! Sorry, this is going to get disgusting
Grace has had a really yucky nose for the last month or so, horrible green snot and bogies and it's been pretty much constant.
Thinking about it, her nose has always been pretty disgusting, on and off usually, but this time it's been pretty much constant.
She's also had horrible nappies for the last week or so, she used to have fairly firm, formed poos but this week they've been mushy, not runny or watery, very mushy and they really stink
The Dr has dismissed it as just a cold, but would a cold go on this long? And would she have had that many colds.
I'm thinking the nappies might be connected to the nose, but what's going on with the nose?
She's got all her teeth so I know she's not teething.
Ellie's always had problems with her ears, she's on her 2nd set of grommets, so I'm wondering if Grace may have something similar going on. I know ear, nose and throat are all connected, but I'm wondering how likely that would be. Would a blockage in her ears affect her nose? When Ellie had her grommets done, the stuff that came out of her ears looked just like snot, so could they all get backlogged and bunged up?
Thanks!

Re: Yucky nose and bottom
the only thing I can think of is possible allergies? My niece is lactose intolerant and would get very bunged up and snotty if she had any dairy - no idea if it affected her poop at all but I would imagine it could as it is in her digestive system...I would def take her to the GP if it doesn't seem to be clearing up.
