I like Coleen too. I think she's as relatively normal as it gets (being a footballer's wife) and I admire her for growing up in the media's eyes - remember those pics of her in school uniform? That's a lot to live down, and I think she's done it admirably. She also seems down to earth and not up her own arse like Posh et al and she's a good looking girl to boot!

What i can never understand is that they all have fairly fit men and obviously lots of money, but they all look so flaming miserable.

Part of the "mystique" and as for being annoyed with the media following them, well it is possible to be a footballer's wife and NOT have the media crawling all over you, so they only have themselves to blame really. Apparently Posh lets them know where she's going to be - can't dislike it all that much! She wants a bloody good bag of chips, that one!

I love colleen too, I think she is so pretty, down to earth and looks fab! I also like Alex Curren (gerrards missus) as she seems so normal too... she bites her nails and never wears fakes as gerrard hates them! Plus she also keeps out of the limelight purposely and the only time you see her is when she gets papped or showing off her beautiful kids in OK!

I agree - look at Louise & Jamie Redknapp - she was famous in her own right, just like Posh, and he's a wicked player... but you very rarely see them in the press.
