    WW Online or Esource?

Thinking about trying to lose a bit-again!

Now, whats the difference between WWOnline and WWEsource, apart from the difference in price, obviously!

    Anyone?

Esource is if you are a member of a club already, you need a password from your leader.

    Aha!

    Thankyou!

Now, is Online any good? Has anyone had success with it?

I was an esource member but to be honest I was half hearted and never really used it. But now I am kicking myself cos I am back on the straight and narrow.

I use esource but don't need a password for it? Although I did join about 18 months ago and just never cancelled it, maybe they've changed it since then?

Racqy's right though, esource is intended for use when you go to a meeting as well, I've never done online but I can't see how it would be that much different? With esource you can track everything and there's a huge database of foods already in there, plus you can add your own recipes or ready made/tinned/whatever stuff that isn't already in the database. You can also track your weight on there.

I've seen a few people say they haven't got on with doing it online, because the motivation isn't there. Personally I would prefer to go to a meeting to get weighed, as the fear of being weighed and having put on is enough of an incentive most of the time!

    Me, I love online.

I have used it since Feb and found it really easy to use. Once you have used it for a week or so you will have saved loads of your favourites so its easy to enter them again (i.e. save all the elements of a favourite meal to save you putting them in individually each time you have it etc). The lists on the website are fairly comprehensive and its great being able to log in an check points etc wherever you are. There are loads of recipes and articles and a chat board etc as well on the site too once you have logged in. I like the graph that plots my weight with the various goals and marks (10%, 7lbs etc) on the line.

I find it really easy and I'd never go to meetings, I think its £10 a month well spent.

Esource does all that too. I really don't get the difference between the two things!

So do you pay for esource? I guess they market it as two separate things in case no one wants to go to the meetings any more?

Yeah, I think it's £6.95. I think it's designed to run alongside the meetings, but I'm a gold member so I don't weigh in very often but still use esource a fair bit.
ETA So I'm not paying for weekly meetings aswell - otherwise would obv be more expensive than online! Although with online don't you have to pay a wodge upfront for all the gubbins?
