Oh No!! I thought she was better!

Lucy really picked up this morning/afternoon after not being very well through the night and yesterday afternoon.

We've been watching our friends kids play footy this afternoon and then onto a BBQ and she's had a great old time running round playing football with the lads

and generally being a little tomboy

she hasn't even slept all day which is

for Lucy .

She was a bit groggy around 5pm ish but i just figured she was getting tired as she hadn't slept and she'd been running round all afternoon.

She was really tired when we got back in but i HAD to give her a bath because she was covered in mud and oil from the park

and i've got an early start in the morning (got to be at Dh's workplace for 7:30am) so couldn't leave it til morning.

She had her milk and fell asleep on my lap downstairs. I carried her up to bed and she seemed fine.

BUT about 40 mins ago or so she started coughing and then i heard her puking

I went up and she was covered in it, everywhere all over the sheets and all in her hair poor little love

The puke (sorry if TMI) was very stringly like snot

so i'm sure she was only sick because she had to cough up stuff off her chest and not because she has an upset stomach iyswim.

Bathed her again because her beautiful clean hair smelt of

and she's all cleaned up and in a clean bed again now and fast asleep

Might try and get into the Dr's tomorrow as she's been ill on and off since January and although she had some antibiotics for an ear and throat infection she doesn't seem to be THAT much better!

Am not looking forward to tonight so am putting off going to bed, got to be up early too, i'm shattered.

Aah poor Lucy!

Abby's been like this a couple of times recently too and is still quite 'snotty' - I wasn't sure if it was hay fever?

Aww poor little thing. pleased she's fast asleep now, hope she has a good night and you get some sleep too.

my ds is like this when he has a cough, usually ends up being sick and it's horrible for them isn't it.

hope she's better tomorrow.
