Killer headache!

Sorry - I'm feeling entirely sorry for myself!

I've had a really horrid headache since Friday night. I had a touch of diarreah and thought I'd let myself get dehydrated, but the bloody headache is still here. It's a real thumping one and I can't sleep

I'm now wondering if it's a viral thing???

I've taken the max doze of paracetamol already today (which I don't like doing when pg anyway) as I was literally falling over so I can't do anything about it until the morning.

If it's a virus can it hurt the baby?
Can taking the full adult dose of paracetamol hurt the baby?

Taking thwe full adult dose of paracetamol will be fine- BTW didnt realise you were pg Congrats


Make sure you drink loads of fluids as well and see if you can get some sleep

I got alot of headaches in the first few months and they were nasty ones too.

There is a nasty D&V bug doing the rounds at the moment so hoping you're not coming down with that

Keep drinking Scatterbrain, as much as you can, you probably still are a bit dehydrated and it is warm today.

Thanks everyone. I was feeling a bit sorry for myself at 4am & started going into irrational worry mode. I've never had a headache I can't get rid of before. I still have it today, although the headaches do come back the paracetamols are keeping them at bay most of the time.

Just pg headaches I guess.

I'm feeling a lot better now, despite lack of sleep.
