What can MIL buy Elena for her birthday?

I haven't got a clue what to suggest.

We're getting her this...

She doesn't need any puzzles, craft stuff, outdoor toys, dressing up clothes & has dolls/pram/travel cot etc.

Any thoughts?

what about seeing if there are any kids shows at your local theatre and then they could have an afternoon out together?

Logan's best wee mate Jamie has EVERYTHING you can imagine so I was stumped as to what to get him for his b-day, so instead of getting him something like toys or clothes I bought tickets for us all to go see Thomas Live and drove us all through to Glasgow for it (his mum included!). It was a great day and his mum said it was one of the best ideas for a pressie! We bought him the poster for his wall as a reminder.

She does like books, but I have a habit of picking up books at car boot sales so she has a lot of them already.

MG, good idea about the day out. The only kids show at the local theatre was a couple of weeks ago & I took her to that (Mr Men). I'm sure there's somewhere else they could go, though.

I guess it doesn't have to be a show, even somewhere like a petting zoo or whatever, it's the spending time together thing that is important.

Does she need anything for her bedroom??

A new shelving unit or a mirror, picture, rug, cushions, duvet cover, lamp, lighshade, bunting.

Wellies or slippers in the next size up?

Musical instruments?

DVD's?

Would they buy her some of the little furniture sets to go with the house you're getting her or are they a bit like my in-laws and prefer to buy one or 2 more 'expensive' items rather than a handful of cheaper things?

Katkinn, We did the furniture thing for Christmas so her rooms more or less finished. Nice idea, though.
Her feet haven't grown from a 6.5 for about a year & she already has size 7 wellies & slippers.
My mum is getting her a nice set of wooden 'proper' instruments from Toys r us ( http://www.toysrus.co.uk/Product.asp...683?ref=Search ) and she already has a keyboard.

RedTiger, Another good idea and I did look into that, but the house actually comes with all the furniture you need as well as a full set of family.
