I looked like such a mean mummy!
William's playgroup had a little Easter party this morning. I didn't know about it until yesterday, because I skived last week to go shopping
Anyway, there was mention of an Easter bonnet competition, and I totally forgot until I got there this morning and EVERYONE but William had a fantastic handmade bonnet. I looked like the most useless fool going, and had to sit and try not to look too ashamed while all the other little ones paraded up and down and were judged. People kept saying 'it's not like you to not bother'
Poor William, he joined in with the parade even though he was bonnetless

Re: I looked like such a mean mummy!
We did the opposite, on Children in need day they did a teddy bears picnic at nursery and they said the kids could go dressed up - we sent Emma in her cat costume and she was the only one
poor child
Don't worry about it.

I got given the letter today that I'm supposed to make a bonnet for tomorrow - some chance of that happening! Poor B - I'm such a neglectful mummy!
