Meeting a childminder for the first time today...

Its the day I've been dreading. I'm off to see a local childminder for the first time this afternoon. I'm so nervous but don't know why.
I've got my questions all ready, having printed off Joanna's HB list

(thanks), I've spoken to her on the phone and she seems nice and experienced. But I feel like I'M the one goign for a job interview!!

Any words of advice?

Trust your instincts! If you don't feel comfortable with them, then neither will your precious bundle!

We met three - one was a no immediately, the second was a yes instantly, and the third one was good, but we just liked the second one better!

A good childminder should put you at ease straight away, and you LO.

You do not have to make you mind up there and then, you can go away and think about it, and even go back if you are not sure or have more questions to ask.
