Which Groups?
Isabel will be 6 months old in July which is when she can join in most the activity groups round here - unfortunately they all stop for Summer so we will have to wait until September (which we will be away for half of
).
So I already have her booked onto Aquababes (swimming) and have been looking at Gymbabes (Tumbletots) and also JoJingles and MonkeyMusic. They also run the Peep scheme round here.
So much choice! Are there anymore that I havent thought about?
Has anyone had any experience of any of these sessions and can tell me a little more about them?

Re: Which Groups?
We go to Bounce & Rhyme at the local library, once a week and its free!
Mini IB loves the songs, music and puppets

Re: Which Groups?
We did Jo Jingles, it's OK as long as you don't mind acting like an arse dancing to nursery rhymes, although everyone else looks as stupid as you do so it's not quite so embarrassing.
Our local swimming pool did an aqua babies type of thing, Ellie loved the water and is now very confident in a swimming pool.
We also did the baby/toddler group thing which she loved.

Re: Which Groups?
I absolutely hate the water, I cant swim because I just have an irrational fear of water being on my face and putting my head under water

Re: Which Groups?
We go to Rhythm Time music classes which are good - although all EVie wants to do is chew the instruments.
I go to Tiny talk baby signing which I really enjoy - lots of nursery rhymes and chatting time after.
I've been taking her to a mums and babies swim session at a local hotel pool (not lessons). I just take her in her swim float and give her time out of it too.
We've been to a mums and tots group as well which is good for them as they get some instructured play time with other children. Did find that other Mums knew each other there and didn't really mix.
I think that anything you do with her will be enjoyable and it's a nice way to spend quality one to one time with them.
It can get v expensive though at 4 or 5 pounds a session!

Re: Which Groups?
Right - I did know about it as I've read something on their site before about 'treasure baskets' but didn't realise that they were groups.
