Has anyone ever tried Second Life? I read about it in a magazine today and am just exploring it.

I tried it once and I lasted about 5 mins before I got bored because I couldn't work the stupid thing out and my character kept ending up in a lake

Second Life is HUGE! It's like a virtual world but people actually run businesses there. I read an article recently about the first Second Life millionaire - basically someone had become a real life millionaire from the business he'd set up on Second Life.

i read about it too, and then i read in the same mag abit after that because of the intrest in SL because of the mag they people on there have set up virtual terroist groups to get rid of the 'new' people!

I've heard a fair bit about it but haven't checked it out myself. I have far too much to distract me from doing something productive as it is, the last thing I need is to get addicted to second life
