If I made Katkinn's curry with lamb steaks

Would I have to cook it for longer?

I'm thinking yes honey cos the meat might be a bit tough? I would up the liquid and the cooking time and maybe cut the meat fairly small?

Could be completely wrong but that is my opinion fwiw.

BTW watch when/how you add the yoghurt as I messed up spectacularly last time made it after having made it once and OH having practically kissed my feet.

    Hope it works out

    Thanks Az,

I make it all the time, but I have some lamb to use and lamb curry.

The thing I love about this one though is that it is so quick!

I think I did know the answer, I was just wishing it not true

I just wish the price of organic chicken wasn't so through the roof.

Right off for a shower, my eyes are actually closing and we think D has the pox, so it may be a long night

    xx

I made it with lamb the first time and just chucked it in the oven at 180 for 60-90 minutes (i.e. while I bathed E and put her to bed ) It was yummy

OOh, thanks for that RGK and Manc lass. I don't think I'm very oven savvy TBH

So I just start off as normal, but then put in a casserole dish in the oven?

in fact I have done that tonight but with chicken, potatoes & mushrooms. I'm a great believer in "the stick it in the oven over bathtime" style of cooking

Well I've cooked this tonight, and it is ace! All fally aparty and curried, rather than lumps of meat in a sauce IYSWIM.

60 mins wasn't long enough, but 90 mins was perfect.

I haven't actually added the spinach and yoghurt because DH is working late now, so I decided to have soup.

I've just scoffed a couple of bits of meat though, and it is gorgeous. I am definitely going to do it this way now! The only thing I would say is that I think the lamb could do with a touch more curry paste, probably because it is less delicate than the chicken.

We'll eat it tomorrow night, can't wait! In fact actually wish I had eaten half now, and have been considering whether I might fit some in in an hour or so when the soup's gone down

Thank you RGK! And thank you Katkinn for the original recipe, and erm thank you Tesco for the ingredients
