Had a look at the Mutsy
at the Baby Show and I do love it but my god is HUGE

and they did not have the duo seat

We stopped off at Mothercare on the way back for another look and tried it in the car and basically it takes the whole of the boot (and we have a Megan Scenic, so not a small boot
)
So I am really stuck now, I just dont know what to do, I really really want it but am scared of getting it (and letting my parents pay all that money) and hating it within a few weeks/months because its so heavy to cart around. I do go places a lot by car but also do walk alot.
This double pram thing is really
getting to me now!!!!

Re: Had a look at the Mutsy
Adelelee,
I feel your pain! I have given up on the Mutsy because it just seemed so unmanoevureable, and I couldn't see the duoseat to try it. It's not even on the Mothercare website anymore so you can't order it and send it back as Katkinn suggested.
We have decided to hold off, and then go for the Cosatto Duet lite if necessary, but presumably with two little ones you will need one.
The lady in John Lewis was raving about the Combi one, which is a side by side but folds really small - Molly wouldn't fit in it though.
I wish there was a perfect answer, maybe the Damsels could design and market one...

Re: Had a look at the Mutsy
It's a fecking nightmare isn't it
I've no idea what I'm going to do at all.
We HAVE decided (after basically accosting people in the street and interrogating them
) that a side by side buggy is just absolutely out of the question.
Everyone has said that in London they are basically crap. FINE if you're out and about walking and getting black cabs everywhere, but on public transport
and in shops - absolutely
A woman with the Mountain Buggy the other day, said it was great for walking and museums and stuff and it WOULD go through most doors, BUT once you got into a shop or a house it was impossible to manoeuvre (sp?) and she was frequently getting stuck in aisles.
Which is just frankly too limiting for me
Plus it will JUST go in our front door but our hallway is the same width as our front door and so I couldn't actually get round the buggy to get the babies out
Our living room is at a right angle to our hall and so I couldn't turn into the living room with the buggy either.
So we'd be stuck in the hallway
The only option that I can possibly see is the Mutsy but I haven't seen it yet.
In fact, I may well get my DH to drive us to Watford on Sunday (ooh what a lovely day out for us all
) to Mothercare World to have a look at it (although sod's law says they won't have it there anymore
)
Oh HOW fecking difficult is this??

Re: Had a look at the Mutsy
Tell me about it, I am just totally

thinking about double prams ALL the time (though I must admit I do feel rather lucky to be in such a terrible situation
)
I think the mutsy will be the way to go, we are thinkin of changing Elizas nursery so whilst I am off on Mat Leave I can walk there so will need a good pram for walking (well thats my excuse
) and just eventually end up buying a smaller, more basic double (though DH will kill me if he hears me saying this
)
But I agree its a total pita that NOWHERE has the Duoseat so you can see how big it is
I think we will just end up ordering it and taking it from there
