When you could really do with a kip yourself...

They decide they don't fancy a nap today!

I am a bit knackered after being up with Con in the night and having him in with us means we never sleep well. So I was really looking forward to a doze on the sofa when he went for a nap.

Well, it all went quiet for about 5 mins, then he started, talking, shouting, walking round the cot, taking his socks off. Half an hour later I gave up and brought him onto the sofa with me and he STILL wasn't having any of it! I think he's on a bit of a high because he feels better!

It's like they know, or something!

Tell me about it! I wish Tilly was the sort of baby i could tuck up in bed next to me and have a bit of a nap but no - she likes to sleep on me and i have to sit bolt upright so it isn't even as if i could lie in bed on my back and sleep!

    I know the feeling.

I tend to just take Thomas into our bed in the afternoons if he wakes up early and I need a snooze. Or even if he won't sleep in his cot and I need to get on with something, I'll cuddle him to sleep in our bed them make my escape.

I could do with a kip this afternoon but with a 2 year old and a three year old there is no chance.
