WHat can I make using field mushroms?

I bought a HUGE basket of field mushrooms from the local market yesterday for £1.50

Any ideas what I can make with them?

What counts as a field mushroom, big flat ones?

I loooove those grilled with cheese melted on top and with some garlic and herb butter poured over.

If they're small (or big), risotto is FAB. Or you could do some nice creamy soup. Or you could make garlic mushrooms in little ramekins with loads of garlic butter and then cheese melted on top. Same garlic mushrooms but instead of in ramekins, on top of garlic bread slices or slices of toast. Stir fry them with other veg? Add them to a curry? Add them to a paella?

mmmm... I loooove mushrooms.

I've made some soup and pasta sauce to freeze but still have a lot left over

have you got a good (easy) recipe for risotto cos I've never made one before?

ooh and if anyone has a good mushrrom curry-type recipe that would be great

what about mushroom & dolcelette farfalle?
Chop your mushrooms, fry them in oil - make a white sauce, at the mushrooms & dolcellette cheese, mix in the farfalle - seriously yummy, esp. with wild mushrooms.
also works well with chicken breast mixed.
