I can't speak for anyone else, but the feeling definitely went away for me. I still love babies and toddlers, but I don't have the slightest desire to have any more of my own.

Have to agree with DillyDally. Even after our 2nd baby & an 11 month age gap, I knew I wanted a third child. Then even when pg with baby #3 & up until he was 8 months or so, I thought maybe we'd have more.

But now, I truly know that 3 children is enough for me. I can ahhh at other people's babies & do miss being pg - but I certainly don't want another baby.

I never used to understand people when they'd say "definately no more" - but I have reached that point, though I guess some people never do - hence the large families.
