She keeps getting out of bed!
Its driving me insane.
We've had NO problems whatsoever since we transferred her from a cot to a bed in September (well apart from her emptying all her clothes out every morning, which funnily enough she hasn't done whilst DH has been off over Xmas, but seems to have started up again yesterday when he went back to work yesterday
) and i'm a bit
as to why she keeps getting up.
She's doing it during the day when she has her nap, its odd because she's not getting up because she wants to get up because she gets up out of bed, is screaming, then comes down stairs and falls asleep on the floor or the sofa
In the evening, she'll go to bed fine, we can hear her "chatting" for about 1/2 an hour then she'll get out of bed stand by her door and start screaming her head off, real tears and everything.
This evening she's done it about 10 times already and i'm sick of keep running up the stairs to put her back in again.
I've NO idea why she's getting otu of bed, its never bothered her before

Re: She keeps getting out of bed!
It's just a phase. And I'm afraid the only way is to keep going up to her to put her back to bed if that's where you want her to nap. No doubt she'll wean herself off her afternoon nap in the next few months (Eilis rarely has one now) so you won't have that problem anymore!!
Re the clothes thing - Eilis is going through a massive dress up phase atm. We go through at least 5 outfits a day. I'm getting some plastic boxes today to put on the shelf in her fitted wardrobe (that she can't reach) and use them for her clothes instead!

Re: She keeps getting out of bed!
she's not dressing up in her clothes, she just getting them out and chucking them all over her floor
I thought she may be dropping her nap recently but she seems to need it again now. Some days she'll only have 1/2 an hour, others she'll have 2 but i think she definately needs some sort of sleep during the day atm.
She's definately shattered when she goes to bed at 7/7:30pm, she can barely keep her eyes open when she's up and screaming.
Someone suggested to me she may be sleep walking, but i think she's definately awake?
