Re: Damsella - how was Spamalot?
I saw this last weekend! It is one of the funniest things I've ever seen, although it did lose the plot just slightly towards the end, IMO. Tim Curry is brilliant, and has the dirtiest laugh I've ever heard!
There's all the classics, the Black Knight, the French Taunters, Herbert, The Knights of Ni!. It was obviously changed for the stage, and there were different bits of plot, which I won't spoil for anyone, but I will just say that Lancelot has hidden depths!
I did get all excited when I thought John Cleese was making a guest appearance, but he wasn't!
Definatly worth every penny, IMO, I did actually laugh so hard to zip on my dress burst!!Nothing happens unless first a dream...
I will show you fear in a handful of dust.

I didn't realise Tim Curry was in it. I think he's brilliant! Definitely sounds like a show I'd love combining Monty Python silliness with showy musical.

Tim Curry's not in it much longer, I think he leaves in January. I don't know who's taking over.
