When I was about 9 and it was on, I'd be in bed and the theme tune from downstairs would scare the shit out of me, I can still remember the really really scared feeling.

is it repeated or have they produced a new version?
I must admit to finding the intro music & dancing lady a little unsettling/scary when I was little.
It's worth a look. Is it on regularly?

It is on every Friday night, a double bill. What was scary when you were a kid is so retro it is NOW, and not at all scary!

I used to love this - my Mum always used to let me sit up with her and watch it. LOL - Loved the one with Susan George and the leg of lamb!!!
....she would have been nice looking if she hadn't been wearing a look that suggested there was a nasty smell under her nose..........
