School Christmas Play/Nativity
Z's just had a note in his schoolbag, I need to provide him with a grey top and trousers because he is going to be a DONKEY!!!!
I
donkeys, he is going to be so cute!! I missed last years play as I was ill so hopefully all illness is out of the way this time.
for my little beast of burden
One little girl was crying to her mum as she had to be a donkey and her friend is an angel, bless her. I remember when things like that were sooo important. I always wanted to be Mary and was always something really boring instead

Re: School Christmas Play/Nativity
Look forward to the photos. I am already praying that when T gets to school is asked to be a Shepherd as I am hopeless at costumes. A tea towel on the head is about my limit.

Re: School Christmas Play/Nativity
I was the donkey when I was about 7/8 yrs old.
I had to wear brown trousers, a brown jumper and a brown head band with some brown paper ears stapled to it.
A lot of the kids took the piss out of me after though as my surname was Donkin

My youngest son has informed me he is going to be a kid
It is a catholic school so although they dont do the traditional story they do one along the lines of it but with a hidden meaning, that no one ever understands until the headmistress stands up and explains

Lil Dude was Joseph last year and is going to be a shepherd this year. He's more excited about being a shepherd.

Re: School Christmas Play/Nativity
Hope you find something AG.
Does it have to be grey? I've got a fab donkey dressing up outfit that you could have borrowed but its brown ( and when you press the ear in brays like a donkey too ). If it would be any good let me know and I can send it to you.
Charlie is a narrator this year. She was one last year too- I think its because she's loud and gobby (cant think where she gets it from
). She has to wear smart clothes so I'm sending her in her beautiful new party dress. She'll look gorgeous
