    Bad mummy moment

    I thought that biting her nails off was probably the safest way to cut her nails however, it went too low into the nail bed and now its bleeding

    she didnt even blink but im really upset

    am i alone??

    I did that to my son but with nail clippers. Don't worry, she probably didn't notice at all and they heal scarily quickly.

    Not at all - though when our LO was first born, OH cut her nails with clippers and took a bit of her finger off. We couldn't understand why she was dotted with red stuff - OH thought he'd made a mess with his pasta sauce, until he looked closely.

    She was alseep when it happened and didn't wake up in pain or anything.

    But that was a seriously bad moment....

    Im glad it doesnt bother them then. its just so bloody, and i know how painful it is when i do it.
