    Feeling movement?

    Hi all

I'm 20+3 today and have been feeling movement on and off for a week or so now. Just a question though - I always seem to feel movement in the same place - which is quite central at about the point where my flabby tummy (bump!) starts. Has anyone else had this? It's really low down and I've felt the movement here 90% of the time. It only just occurred to me that what I think is the baby moving actually might not be? Got my scan on Friday but as the time gets nearer I guess I just need a bit of reassurance!!

    Thanks!

I think at that stage baby is surprisingly low down. I remember when the m/w used to listen for a heartbeat it was very low to start with. I hope Friday comes round quickly for you to put your mind at rest.

Yep, completely normal to be that low down at 20 weeks. You'll soon start to feel them higher up as you get bigger - and then you'll know about it!! No just kidding, its a really nice feeling. Reassuring that things are okay.

I remember thinking the same, but as everyone else has said, at this stage completely normal to feel it so low down! Just wait till the baby starts kicking your ribs!!
