pre-school and nursery
Ok I am a bit confused. When do lo go to pre-school.
Seb is currently in nursery 4 days a week and I am paying a fortune.
I the future we would like to have a sister or brother for Seb, but we seriously have to consider finances.
I would quite like to go back to work after number 2, but we cant afford 2 in full time nursery.
How has other 2nd time mums coped going back to work??

Re: pre-school and nursery
Pre-school or state nursery is usually from age 3, sometimes 2 years 9 months. You are entitled to 5 free half day sessions once your child is three.
You should also get increased working tax credit if you go back to work, however overall you probably will be more out of pocket with two in nursery.

What Sparkliness said.
Realistically if you only want to pay one set of childcare you have to wait until your 1st child is at school full time, but even then you might need to pay for care before and after school. It's very hard really to balance working and paying all your salary out in childcare.
