DD and I went for a few days with a camping friend and his daughter to the Purbeck Peninsula in Dorset, it was lovely and didn't rain until we were leaving!

Hope all is/has been well, I'm back online and will try and catch up with everything.

Dorset is a great place for camping.

We are taking the kids camping at the end of term (end of September) to Noosa. Not taken them before but hoping for the best! We are going to a proper campsite with full facilities (much to DH's embarrassment!) - thought we'd do a bit of easy camping before tackling the snakes and ticks in the outback.

Thanks girls! Our friend is a seasoned camper, so I felt we were in good hands. Although I actually managed to take all the right stuff , except cooking implements which he had.

Actually the best thing I took was a plastic cross-body bag which I wore slung over me the whole time, in the campsite, on the beach, on walks, etc, with my two epi pens and phone in it. And my mother was next door here at home so I didn't feel too nervous about leaving DH.

So, I think we might try it again next year! Have found a lovely looking place nearer to Weymouth, recommended by our neighbour.
