Re: Do you have any quirky habits?
It really amuses friends who notice that I don't like touching food; I'll wrap a napkin around a sandwich. But I think I'm the normal one

I never touch lift buttons with my finger tips, if the buttons allow elbow pressing I'll use my elbow. The back of my hand (the bit between little finger & wrist), or a key are all good.
If there's a push panel thing on a door I won't use it to open the door, I'll push the door next to it.

I will only eat one thing at a time such as I'll eat all the peas first, then carrots. My family always laugh at me when I have a roast because I have a certain order, kind of leaving the best till last.

I'm with you on the wrapping a sandwich/burger Cheeky Biscuit so you are not alone in it.....I also have to put wash the dishes in a particular order and have to wash like for like items at the same time and put them in the right place to dry.

Re: Do you have any quirky habits?
I've got a way of stacking the dishwasher to maximise the amount of stuff I can get in there. I don't think that's particularly weird though.
Actually I've got a bit twitchy about mess since being a SAHM so I'm a bit
about tidying everything up before kiddos bedtime.
Oh just thought of another one. If I heat something up in the microwave I won't eat it from the bowl it's was heated in. I have transfer it to another one. I think that's a bit daft.

Re: Do you have any quirky habits?
if i'm in a public loo I will get some loo roll to use to open the door so I don't have to touch the handle.
I don't like sauce from beans to touch my other food

Re: Do you have any quirky habits?
I do love OCD threads :happysigh:
I'm with you on the public bog thing. I do my darndest to open handles with my elbows. If I have to touch handles or turn off taps I make sure I have enough water in my hand to give them a mini swill afterwards.
I just know that will totally annihilate any lurking germs

Re: Do you have any quirky habits?
Yes! I do this! But I keep it in check when eating with other people - only fully give in to it when I'm alone! I used to be much worse, though. My mum always used to cook a roast chicken on Sunday and then we'd have chicken risotto on Monday. I would spend hours separating out each constituent part of the risotto. I even had a special compartmentalised plate for it!

Glad I'm not the only one to use same coloured pegs for clothes it's more common that I thought.

Re: Do you have any quirky habits?
Again with the coloured pegs thing. My pegs are 5 different colours (Lakeland ones). If I'm hanging out something pink, eg, I can't hang it up with pink pegs.
