Inspiration needed for 4 year olds birthday!

The twins will be 4 next month and I am at a loss as to what to get them! It has to be cheapish. What toys/games do your 4 year olds love?

Aw, they're getting big! Some ideas;
Scooters, bikes, junior monopoly, picture-ica (or however you spell it), playmobil, Lego & I've ran out now.

We got Ellie sweet fanny adams for her 4th birthday (unless you count her parties

). Family, friends and her party with her chums more than made up for it. We were going to take her to the toy shop to choose something on the Sunday after her birthday but she got soooooo much that there didn't seem to be anything else to get and she forgot all about it anyway. I got Clara a second-hand bike. It was £12

She did say, 'Oh look, a new old bike'

It is immaculate though and should have cost £150.

I've been like that with Elliot's birthday this year

. I bought him the Vtech Buzz Lightyear camera when I saw it half price on Amazon before Xmas, and a few weeks back bought him a Playmobil fire rescue helicopter when I saw that half price in Toys R Us. I'm all out of ideas for him and people keep asking me what he wants. He actually doesn't really want anything.

I forgot to say the bike suggestion was 2nd hand - smaller bikes don't get used to death & you often see adverts for them in newsagents windows.

I was going to begrudgingly get M a bike. I remember DS grew out of his first bike really quickly. My Dad got her one from the tip shop! It was about £5 and is in Halfords for £69.99!

We've got her a Peppa pig 6 in 1 set that she asked for. It is half price at £14.99 in Asda. I got a set of about 16 Peppa pig books from the Book People for £15. Other than that I just have little bits and bobs, just cheap but so she has pressies.

At 4 Eve loved Guess Who, although it took a while for her to understand it! Skipping rope was also popular at this age, and some pre-school readers to prepare her for school, the ones with Biff and Chip were great.
