School report q?
DD just brought home a v good school report (vpm!) and she has been scored for her levels of reading / writing / maths but there is nothing to explain what the score is (a number and letter for each) so it's hard to know if it is where she should be. Any teachers / more experienced mums who can shed some light? She is just finishing yr 1 (
no idea how that happened either!)

Re: School report q?
What's actually funny is what his teacher has written attached to his report grades "imagine what he could do if he actually paid attention in class and put some effort into his work" - he got a 4a grade and he is in year 4....but he is a lazy so and so who spends all day daydreaming!

Re: School report q?
Our reports said that they expected yr 1s to end the year with a 1b or 1a. Then yr 2 should increase to 2c,b,a.

Re: School report q?
No numbers on Matthew's (am guessing they start in Y1 as they were mentioned in the covering letter) but am really pleased with his first school report

What cracked me up though was they had a sheet where they had asked the children questions and one was "are you worried about anything?" M's response - "Yes, about if dinosaurs stop being extinct and come back"
Jedi Boy is 6, the Little Princess is 3....

1a being above average and 1c slightly below. Obviously if its a 2? then she is doing very well
