Photo walls/frame collages how do you do yours?
I have a smaller cluster of photos from our photo shoot but want to expand/grow this
Do you use the same frames in different sizes or totally different?
Mix of colour and black and white or all the same?
How many before it just looks a mess?
Any pics?
Thanks!

I think anything goes: http://www.houzz.com/gallery-wall
Two tips I've read about but not tried yet:
1) Do a mock up with bits of paper the same sizes as your frames or do the layout on the floor first.
2) Put blobs of toothpaste on the fixings so when you hold them against the wall the toothpaste transfers so you know where to put the screw/hook then the toothpaste just wipes off.

I've got a huge wall of photos going up my stairs. I have used a variety of different size, shape and design frames and painted them all the same colour.

We've got 3 of these in the family room

Planning to add more frames/photos of different sizes/colour/effects. But that's our starting point.

Thank you all
will maybe buy frames and decide how to do it whether one big collage or a few smaller ones I can't decide!
The paper idea is a good idea too

I have a photo wall of all different sizes but all Black frames, I actually don't think it matters as long as they are spaced beautifully, I love a good mix
