Stone Roses - Heaton Park Saturday 30th June
Warning waffly post

Well I have been waiting 22 years to see them live again....and they were amazing

I was jumping up and down all giddy (and no not on anything!) when they came on, so glad I got to see them and wish I had been able to go tonight as well
Toilets and bar's weren't so bad, only downside was it went from bright sunshine when we was sat on the grass watching Hollie Cook.....to heavy rain, but it all was worth it, even the very long walk home

DS1 really enjoyed himself too, the bonus being that he got to see Beady Eye too. I saw them at Spike Island 22 years ago, can't really remember much tbh, but feel all
that my son has seen them all these years later.

We were there on Saturday too, it was brilliant. Loved them but never got to see them, saw Ian Brown at V2000 (I think) & he was pants so I had low expectations but it was brilliant. The crowd were fab, friendly bunch too - unlike arctic monkeys gig at old Trafford cricket ground a few years ago. I thought the bar queue was well organised and the Bow was nice and cold! I have to say though that I have never seen so many men pissing at any given time in public - is there a guiness record for that?

Vikki so jealous you got to go Sunday as well, would have done if I had a sitter. CB I was disgusted at one point a group of men pissing in the sinks...urggh dirty sods.
There was even a picture doing the rounds on twitter of a woman doing the same
horrible woman hope when she sobers up she is suitably embarrased
