Sun £9.50 holidays
We may be doing this as an extra holiday this year with in laws but we are in 2 minds as not sure it's our thing
Upgrades - how upgraded are you really?
On the dates are the parks rammed due to lots of other people on the breaks?
How does it works with choices and allocating?
Any parks included that anyone has been to and would recommend?we are midlands and wouldn't want to travel more than 2hours really
Thanks

Re: Sun £9.50 holidays
We've been on a few now - Rhyl, Blackpool, Cleethorpes and New Quay (Wales not Cornwall). I would upgrade definitely, you get heating in all rooms then instead of just a fire in the lounge, also the vans tend to be newer and slightly bigger. We also pay for an extra bedroom (4 people would get allocated a 2 bed van)just to stick all the luggage etc in and give you a bit more space.
We're in Shropshire so about an hour up the M6/M54 from Brum, it took a couple of hours to get to the Wales and Blackpool parks. It took about 3.5 hours to get to Cleethorpes
but that's East so it would be less for you.
Don't go expecting luxury and you'll be fine!
Our van in Blackpool was not that nice but the others have all been fine

Oh yes I remember those days!!
We've been to Centre Parcs and it is a world away from a haven site
saying that's our LO's love the characters at the Haven parks and also the night entertainment is great for them.

Re: Sun £9.50 holidays
We've had some lovely holidays through The Sun, holidays we would never have afforded. Our first and one that definately stands out is Quay West, Newquay West Wales.
As for choices and allocating it's hit & miss. You have to provide 3 locations and (I think its 3) different dates and basically you get what you're given! I don't think they tend to operate as much in peak times.
We have upgraded and got more modern caravans, and a bedding pack. Everything you would need is provided any way..apart from a washing machine, my little one hunted high & low for one!!
