Teaching them a positive attitude
Dd1 is in year 2, this past school year the school has been focusing on teaching the kids they can do anything, with a positive attitude. Which I get and generally I am very positive BUT she is being a horror thinking she can do everything - she thinks she can decide when she goes to sleep, she thinks she can get whatever she wants - this week has been a constant battle of keeping her grounded & level. She thinks she can take on the world & is capable of anything ( she's ridden a bike without stabilisers on the 1st attempt because she decided she could do it, so there are good points)
Anyone else had this and how to get around it?
