    Storing a sponge cake?

I made a cake yesterday for DS party, well actually I ended up making 4 cakes! We have used most of cakes as party bag fodder and iced another one up, but I still have one more cake.

My lucky boy is having another smaller tea party on Thursday and I thought I could use it then, but should I freeze it between now and then? Is there another good method/better method for keeping it tasty in between times?

    TIA

Happy birthday to your little lad.

    I would freeze the cake.

Freeze or wrap it well in cling film.

What about having it with custard? You'd not notice if it weren't 100% fresh if it was covered in custard and maybe a blob of jam.
